Tech Calculator: Load Rating, Fitment & Rolling Circumference

Check if wheel and tire load ratings match your axle loads—and see how width and offset change inner and outer clearance.

The Tech Calculator helps you quickly assess a planned wheel and tire setup—in plain language. Enter your front and rear axle loads, pick wheels from the catalog, and add the tire load index (e.g., 92Y). You’ll get a clear front/rear result showing whether both wheel and tire meet the required load per wheel—or if limits are exceeded.

You can also compare your current vs new wheel specs (width/offset). A simplified diagram shows whether the wheel moves outwards toward the fender or inwards toward the suspension, including the calculated millimeter changes.

Finally, the rolling circumference check highlights how much the tire circumference changes compared to your current setup. Note: Results provide technical guidance and do not replace official approvals or inspections.

Important: A tire manufacturer approval is required in particular when the vehicle's top speed exceeds 250 km/h or when the tire is narrower than the standard width for the respective rim width. Also observe any conditions in the wheel certificate.
